I'm pretty sure the many moves while I was growing up, as well as through the years of raising our own family, contributed to my compulsion to capture the who, what, when, and where of daily life. Making photos has always helped me to anchor time, place, and experience.
Home continues to be an ever-evolving, ever-changing place, but here we be (wherever we be), navigating what is now an empty nest, camera still in hand.
If I'm not here, I hope I'm out walking in the woods, or perhaps along a beach, or maybe sipping a hot cuppa (cream of earl grey please) with a good book in hand...but rest assured, I'll be back soon.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Time it was
and what a time it was, it was
A time of innocence
A time of confidences.
Long ago it must be
I have a photograph
Preserve your memories
They're all that's left you.
